This should be 130-150 words in length. Happy Blogging!
Dr Terufumi Sasaki and Mrs. Hatsuyo Nakamura reactions after the bomb dropped were similar to their everyday life. To start with Mrs. Nakamura’s first reaction after the bomb dropped was to go and protect her children after she freed herself from the ruble on top of her she heard her 5-year old daughter Myeko calling for help so she ran over and started to pull her daughter out of the ruble but she could not hear cries from her other children. This was her job she was a mother and her job was to protect her children. Before the bomb dropped Dr. Sasaki was on his was back to Hiroshima from the country side he worked at the Red Cross hospital. When he was in the hospital heading to the lab when he saw a flash and dropped to the ground. When he stood up he was the only one untouched and started to help those who were injured this is what is job was some who was suppose to help others so that what he did.

ReplyDeleteThe German priest, Father Wilhelm Kleinsorge, had been relaxing and reading a book when the bomb hit. At first he thought the bomb had landed directly on the area he was in. He wandered around in shock until he found himself in a vegetable garden. After he snapped out of his daze he began to help people trapped under rubble. Being a priest he probably felt that it was his duty to help the people in need. The doctor, Terufumi Sasaki, was just out of college and working in a red cross when the bomb hit. He was the only doctor in the building who was mostly uninjured so he rushed to help everyone. He tried to help everyone he could. He was a very dedicated doctor so he was always helping people that he could.

ReplyDeleteTwo main characters from the book Hiroshima that made priorities, choices, and reactions after the bomb matched those of their everyday lives prior to the bomb, for better or worse were Mrs. Hatsuyo Nakamura and Dr. Terufumi Sasaki. Mrs. Hatsuyo Nakamura made some priorites, choices, and had some reactions. She would make habits of taking her three children to the designated "safe areas", or the military area known as the East Parade Ground, on the northeast of the city. She would unroll out some mats and the children would lay down. And when she would hear the sound of roaring planes going over Hiroshima they would go back home. And after the bomb attack her first reaction to it was to get to her kids. But the bomb was so big that she flew into another room. And when she freed herself she went to go find the kids. But she realized that one of her kids were buried up to her breast. And she couldn't see or hear nothing after.
Another character from the book was Doctor Terufumi Sasaki. He also made priorities, choices, and reactions. While Sasaki was on his way to the hospital, he didn't feel to well on the train, but he knew he had to be at work helping patients. When he arrived at the hospital he settled in and starting helping. While he was working he had some business on the third floor with some blood. While on his way, there was a big blast that ripped right through the hospital. He didn't get hurt as much as the others but, instead of running he went to go help. When he got back downstairs the hospital was a horrible confusion. The ceilings had fallen on patients, beds overturned, and blood is everywhere. Doctor Sasaki was the only doctor left in the hospital. Instead of running he stayed.
Prior to the bomb, people lived a more calm and collected life, with the exception of waiting for a bomb to be dropped. Some of the survivors recall how small details changed what happened in their lives, and allowed them to survive.
ReplyDeleteMrs. Nakamura's priorities changed very little after the bomb hit. Her number one priority was always the well being of her three children. After the bomb hit, her first reaction was to check on her children and make sure they were alive and well. She made sure to dig them out of the wreckage they were under. Another example of Mrs. Nakamura putting her children first, is when she says she feared they'd be cold, so she put more clothes on them despite the heat. The decisions she makes are for better, in my opinion, because she helps her children survive.
Throughout the story, Father Kleinsorge also puts others before himself. He tries to help uncover the wounded from their destroyed houses and buildings, although the people around him don't bother to help. Being a priest, Kleinsorge probably feels as though it's his duty to help the people around him. He even joins Mr. Tanimoto's efforts to put out a fire. Mr Tanimoto is another example of someone whose point of view changed little from before the bombing; he also tries to help the injured. The one difference between the two men and Mrs. Nakamura is that they try to help strangers, while Nakamura focuses mainly on her three children.
Prior to the bomb happening life was ordinary, calm and awaiting for the bomb.
ReplyDeleteThe two main characters, Mrs. Hatsuyo Nakamura and Wilhelm Kleinsorge, from the novel Hiroshima that describe how their priorities, choices and reactions were after the bomb is Mrs. Hatsuyo Nakamura priorities were he three children. Her reaction to the bomb taking place was to make sure her children were well okay and safe. The decision she makes are very responsible and caring, showing how much love and care she has for her children.
The German priest, Father Wilhelm Kleinsorge was a very caring and dedicated person. The author describes him as a loving and helpful generous man. Him being a Priest, not that it is his duty but out of respect he helps others. Such as him joing Mr. Tanimoto's efforts to put out the fire.

Nakamura was a taliors wife. she complied with the bomb alert in the mornings. Nakamura life was a already hard to live. After her husband died she lived for her children. She missed the little things so she made her kids take up the practices her husband worked. When the bomb dropped it was silent and very fatal one her babies died, something crushed him. Her is going to be very hard to live after this. Miss Toshiko Sasaki was tin wprks clerk. She was not related to Dr. Sasaki. She was part of the army. When the bomb hit. She was in her office in her office finishing work. It was blinding to her. she broke her leg. A bookcase fell on her, she fell unconsious.
ReplyDeleteTwo main characters priorities, choices and reactions after the bomb is Both Dr. Sasaki and Dr. Fujii. Both Dr. Sasaki and Dr. Fujii survive the blast, but Dr. Fujii is hurt and his clinic has completely collapsed, killing four nurses and his only two patients. As the fire spreaded, he and many others take refuge in the river. Dr. Sasaki is one of the few doctors in all of Hiroshima who have not been killed or injured. About 10,000 wounded people crowd into and outside of his hospital.Wearing someone else’s glasses and completely confused, Dr. Sasaki works frantically to help as many of the badly wounded patients as he can. Dr. Fujii later makes his way to his parents’ house in the suburbs. He is puzzled about what weapon could have caused such destruction.
ReplyDeleteMiss Sasaki, at the tin works factory, has been severely injured—her leg is so badly broken below the knee that she believes it has been cut off. For a long time, she is pinned below the bookcase, barely conscious, until she is finally pulled from the wreckage and put under a makeshift shelter in the company of two severely injured people.
The two main characters from the book Hiroshima that made priorities choices and reactions after the bomb matched those of their everyday lives prior to the bomb for better or worse were Mrs. Hatsuyo Nakamura and Dr. Terufumi Sasaki. When the Bomb droped Mrs. Hatsuyo motherly instinct was to go protcect her children and take them to the safe house. When the attact weas over she took her children home.He main thing to do was to protct her children so they could be safe. When the bombing happened Mr.Terufumi was on his way to work to help a patient even though he was feeling sick.First, that morning he had taken an earlier train than usual because he could not sleep—based on the location and timing of the blast, he would have been killed on his normal train. Second, when the bomb hits, he is safe standing one step away from an open window. He is the only doctor in the hospital who is uninjured, and he immediately goes about binding the wounds of those around him. He became a doctor for everyone in Hiroshima.
ReplyDeleteThe two main characters that had many priorities before and after the comb that stayed the same was Mrs. Namurka and Dr. Sasaki. Mrs. Namurka was a mother of three kids. she heard the warning air sirens. This caused her to take action by keeping her kids home. Her main priority is to keep her kids safe. Thus she attacked the same way when pulling her kids from under the rubish from the bomb. Her priorties remained the same and that was still to keep her kids safe. Dr. Saski was a surgen and that was his job. His proffesion caused him to help those in need. When the bomb struck, he was the only person in his office that was unharmed. He went around helping others befor and after the bomb. He remained as a helper they both continued their normal life.
ReplyDeleteTwo main characters from the book Hiroshima, that had priorities choices and reactions after the bomb were Dr. Saski and Dr. Fujii. In the novel Dr. Fujii had gotten hurt from the bomb explosion in the water, near his Clinic. The bomb injured many patients and killed them as well as killing the nurses that worked in the clinic. Four nurses was working at the moment and killed. Dr. Fujii was shocked and worried on how bad the results of the bomb did to his place. He was wounded terribly, but he figured he go to his parents house in the suburban area. Since his Clinic fell apart the other patients that were wounded Rushed their wat to Dr saski in which he tried To help as many possible.
ReplyDeleteThe Doctors was out numbered by over thousands of hurt people. As a doctor his priorities was to help them.
The two characters I chose to write bout are the Reverand Mr. Kiyoshi Tani, and Dr. Masakazu Fuji, these two men served the people each day in their professional life's. Each man I feel dedicated there lives to save and help the injured people of Hiroshima.
ReplyDeleteThe Reverand Mr. Tanimoto could have just walked away but instead he chose to go above and beyond to help the people and find his family. This is one man whogave his all for others. He could have left with his family but chose to stay and attend to the dying, and injured people.
Dr. Fuji also injured himself by the bomb, but still gave all he could of himself to help the trapped, dying, and injured civilians. I think without them, both taking charge of the situation, more lives would have been lost that day.
Of all the characters describe in the first two chapters, I chose Dr. Masakazu Fujii and Dr. Terufumi Sasaki. Dr. Fujii normally slept in most mornings, but the day the bomb hit he woke up at six o’clock to see a house guest off on a train. He walked with his friend to the station, and was home by seven. Being that the morning was already hot, he undressed down to just his underwear and sat on the porch to read the paper. During the time he was relaxing in luxury at his home, the bomb hit sending him into the water. Prior to the bombing, Fujii liked reading the Osaka Asabi and he did read all the time. He was a doctor and he worked at a private hospital. Dr. Terufumi Sasaki was the Red Cross surgeon who lived with his mother. He had a nightmare the night before the bombing. The morning the bomb hit, he was real sluggish and tired and after debating he finally forced himself to go because of his sense of duty. He was 25 years old, and just finished training at a medical university in Tsingtao, China. He had been visiting patients without a permit, and recently learned the severity of practicing without one. He was the only doctor uninjured in the hospital. Him and Dr Fujii both survived the blast, and went around aiding wounded victims. Both of them prioritized helping others in times of need and fulfilled the same duties after the bomb hit.
ReplyDeleteMrs. Hatsuyo Nakamura- She barely escapes the explosion when her house is blown away. Her and her 3 kids try to deal with illness and radiation poisoning for years after the bomb and she finds it very hard to find work even years after the bomb had dropped. Dr. Terufumi- He is a 25 year old surgeon at a Red Cross hospital in Japan. He risked penalties for helping sick patients in the suburbs without a permit. Dr. Terufumi doesn’t expect recognition for his hard work just knowing that he has helped another living being.
ReplyDeleteTwo main characters i am going to talk about i think is the main topic of the book so far. Mrs.hatsuyo Nakamura When her house blown away she barely escapes the explosion. Her and her children has to deal with illness and radiation posioning for years after the bomb. I think that is a big part of the book so far because a single parent that has to deal with three children and has to go through a lot. Dr.Terufumi he is 25 years old he is an old surgeon at a red cross hospital in japan he risked many things by helping sick patients in the surburbs without an permit. I thought that was very nice vecause he was risiking his life because he could of got in trouble for helping needy people without no life. Dr.Terufumi doesnt brag about what he do he just know that he helped out another huan to stay survived and living.
ReplyDeleteThe two main characters are Mrs.Hatsuyo Nakamura her life was good untill the bomb she did not know it was comingher and her kids are trying to survive threw all of the radiation sitll in the air after the bomb. The next characters is Dr. Terufumi his 25years old,he is a surggeon at the red cross. He dose not have a permit to work in the but that dose not stop him.even thow he can get in trouble for helping people that are sick.those are the two main characters.
ReplyDeleteTwo characters I choose was Mrs. Nakamura. Her Priotites changed very little after the bomb hit. Before the bomb hit she always cared more of her children than she did of herself. Then after the bomb hit she still put her children first. Right after the bomb she made sure her children were alright. So her children was still her main priority. The other character i chose was Mr. Tanimoto. He put people before him self all the time. Even after the bomb hit. He survived but he still stayed to help the people that was dying and or wounded.
ReplyDeleteBefore the bomb had droped it seem there waz a war going on at the time. People lifes was normal but theywas also cautious at the same time because of what was going on. One of the people names were Miss Toshiko Saski. She was watching her eleven month old brother before the bomb happen. At the time she also had alot of house work to do. She had to cook breakfast for her father, brother, sister, and also herself because of the war that was going on. When the bomb happen miss Saski had lost consciousness that day. The ceiling had fell to the floor. She was crush by books. Another person was Mr. Tanimoto had been carrying the portable things from his church in a close place. He had someone help him move a couple of things. In return he had to help the man move his daughter things out of his house. So the next day Mr. Tanimoto woke up the next day to help the man. They were at the house and then saw a flash in the sky. They both were scared as that happen. They were silent and also dazed.
ReplyDeleteTwo main characters from the book Hiroshima that made priorities, choices, and reactions after the bomb matched those of their everyday lives prior to the bomb, for better or worse were Mrs. Hatsuyo Nakamura and Dr. Terufumi Sasaki. Mrs. Nakamura her priotites changed very little after the bomb hit. Before the bomb hit she always cared more of her children than she did of herself. After the bomb hit she acted like there was nothing new to the world, like nothing happened. but i think she's starting to realize that people are hurt and are dying. Dr. Terufumi is 25years old, he is a surgeon at the red cross. He doesn't have a permit to work in the building but that doesn't stop him. He seems to always care and want to help people. So i think he will be a major key in the story and how he helps others.
ReplyDeleteThis is me again saying sorry for being 1min late today sorry ;)
ReplyDeletein the book hiroshima by john hersey two characters that fufiled prioties lie their everyday life where Ms.Naumura and Dr.sasaki. They Both fufilled their everyday duties. Ms Nakamura has three kids and is a widow. This means she is a single parent. Her dutties is for her kids and thats her main prioity. Dr, sasaki is a medical person so his job is to help those in need. After being Blown into the kyo river right along with the hospital. He still went around to help others. Therefore even through this bad bomb thing that happen they still did what they had to do.
